Phonics Scheme
Although we are a Junior School we have some children who need
specific phonic intervention.
As a school we have adopted The Read Write Inc Scheme to use as
an intervention for those pupils who still require it. All staff have
received the Read Write Inc Training. Since adopting the scheme we
have seen rapid progress and children move from the Read Write Inc
phonics very quickly.
Once children’s phonics are secure the children move onto on Read
Write Inc spelling.
