We celebrated Roald Dahl Day on Friday 11th September 2026. Roald Dahl Day is traditionally celebrated on 13th as this was his birthday. All staff and children were encouraged to wear yellow because this was his favourite colour. We also asked for a donation of £1 for the Dahlicious charity, which provides specialist nurses for seriously ill children. During this day all pupils found out about why Roald Dahl was such a significant figure and discussed some of his books. Each year group then focused on a different book and completed activities linked to it. All children also completed a competition linked to the book Matilda. It was a great day!
