Our Year 3 children enjoyed a fantastic visit to Palace Green Library in Durham to learn more about Prehistoric Britain.
In the morning, we enjoyed handling real and replica artefacts from this period and we investigated what they could have been used for and what they told us about life during this time. We also worked in groups to complete a gallery trail where we located information to answer questions. In the afternoon, we looked at a skeleton and discussed how we could use clues to find out about the life of this person.
